What is healthy living?
Healthy life can be defined in English: (Healthy Life) as any action that a person takes that benefits him physically, mentally, and emotionally, which helps the person feel comfortable and in general health. Healthy life in general is represented by healthy eating, sports activities, and avoiding bad and harmful habits. A healthy life may require some sacrifice on the part of the person, but its results remain for a long period of his life. Health can be divided into several different types, such as spiritual health, emotional health, and physical health.
Diet:
By following a healthy diet, one can maintain the health of the body and its energy levels. It does not necessarily mean that eating healthy food will make the person lose the feeling of the pleasure of the food, or that the person will need more time to prepare it, as there are many healthy meals that do not require a long time. In its preparation, it has a delicious taste at the same time. Among the tips that can be followed to obtain a healthy diet are the following:
· Diets contain vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and low-fat milk products.
· Eat three separate meals a day. Eat fish, chicken, eggs, lean meat, beans, and nuts.
· Avoid drinking soft drinks and enhanced juices because they contain large amounts of sugar. It is also worth noting that you should try to avoid sugar-free soft drinks because they have an appetizing effect.
· Eat foods that contain small amounts of saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, sugar, and table salt.
· Avoid eating large meals before bed to prevent gastroesophageal reflux.
· Avoid rewarding children with sweets and sugar-rich meals.
· Avoid eating large meals in the summer, especially on hot days.
· Avoid eating raw or undercooked meat.
· Wash fruits and vegetables well and with drinking water.
